Austin Distillery Tours — Book a Party Bus Spirits Tour to Still Austin, Deep Eddy, Treaty Oak, and the Best Distilleries Near Austin

Distillery tours with Party Bus Rentals in Austin is our fastest-growing booking category. We run groups to Still Austin Whiskey Co., Deep Eddy Vodka, Treaty Oak Distilling, Desert Door, and every distillery within 45 minutes of downtown Austin. We handle the driving, the route, and the logistics. You handle the tasting. Call 512-825-4032 or book below to lock in your date.

Austin Nites Party Bus operates custom Austin distillery tours for groups of 8–30 on our owner-operated Austin party bus fleet. Every tour is fully customizable — tell us which distilleries you want to visit, how many people are in your group, and what date works. We build the route, recommend the vehicle, and send a quote within 15 minutes.

How Our Austin Distillery Tours Work

Step 1: Call or submit a quote. Tell us your date, headcount, and which distilleries interest you. Call 512-825-4032 or visit our contact page. We respond within 15 minutes.

Step 2: We build your route. We recommend the distillery sequence, timing for each stop, lunch venue, and the vehicle that fits your group. Every route is customized — we do not run cookie-cutter tours.

Step 3: Secure your date. A deposit locks your vehicle and date. The deposit applies toward your total.

Step 4: We pick you up. The driver arrives 15 minutes early at your location — home, hotel, downtown, anywhere in Austin. The bus is stocked with ice in the coolers, the sound system is ready for Bluetooth, and the BYOB bar area is set. The distillery tour starts the moment you board.

Step 5: We drive the entire tour. Between every distillery, the bus is the BYOB lounge — music, drinks, group energy. At every distillery, the bus parks and waits. When your group finishes tasting, the bus is there. No waiting for rideshare. No designated driver. No splitting into separate cars.

Step 6: We bring you home. The bus drops your entire group door-to-door after the last stop. Option: transition from the distillery tour to Rainey Street or 6th Street nightlife for the evening.

Where We Take You — The Still Austin Distillery Tour and Beyond

We have relationships with every major distillery in the Austin area. Here are the distilleries our groups visit most frequently and what you can expect at each:

Still Austin Whiskey Co. — South Austin

440 E St Elmo Rd, Austin, TX 78745 | Tue–Sat 12–10 PM, Sun 12–8 PM | 21+ only inside

The Still Austin distillery tour is the #1 spirits experience in the Austin area. Austin’s first whiskey distillery since Prohibition, Still Austin is a 100% grain-to-glass operation — they mill, mash, ferment, distill, barrel, and bottle everything in-house using Texas-grown grains. The 60-minute Full Distillery Tour walks your group through the entire production process and includes 6–7 generous tastings. The 30-minute Whiskey Express Tour gives an overview with a complimentary cocktail. After the tour, the tasting room and whiskey garden patio are worth another 30–60 minutes of cocktails, food truck bites, and live music.

Flagship products: "The Musician" Straight Bourbon, rye whiskey, gin, cask-strength single barrels, and Nancy’s Picks monthly limited releases.

Why we recommend Still Austin first: It is 10 minutes from downtown Austin in the St. Elmo district with easy bus parking. The tour quality is the best in the region. And the tasting room doubles as a destination — groups routinely spend 90+ minutes between the tour and post-tour cocktails.

Deep Eddy Vodka — Dripping Springs

2250 E Hwy 290, Dripping Springs, TX 78620 | 20–25 min from Austin

The iconic Texas vodka brand. We drive groups to the Dripping Springs distillery where Deep Eddy produces the flagship vodka and the flavored line (Ruby Red Grapefruit, Cranberry, Peach, Lemon, Sweet Tea, Orange). The tasting experience is accessible and fun — even people who "don’t drink spirits" enjoy the flavored vodka samples. Deep Eddy is the crowd-pleaser stop on every mixed-preference group tour.

Treaty Oak Distilling — Dripping Springs

16604 Fitzhugh Rd, Dripping Springs, TX 78620 | 30 min from Austin

Treaty Oak is a sprawling Hill Country ranch with a distillery, a full-service restaurant (Alice’s Restaurant), a cocktail bar, a beer garden, and live music. We schedule Treaty Oak as the lunch stop on most routes — your group does a whiskey, gin, and rum tasting, then sits down for an elevated Texas lunch at Alice’s surrounded by Hill Country views. Treaty Oak produces Ghost Hill Bourbon and Waterloo Gin. The property alone is worth the drive.

Desert Door — Driftwood

Driftwood, TX | 15–20 min from Austin

We take groups to Desert Door for the most unique tasting stop in the region. Desert Door makes sotol — a spirit distilled from the wild sotol plant of West Texas. It is not tequila, not mezcal, not vodka. Most guests have never tasted or even heard of sotol, and the experience is consistently the most memorable and conversation-starting stop on any tour we run.

Revolution Spirits — Austin

Handcrafted gin, coffee liqueur, and small-batch spirits. We add Revolution to city-based tours (Route 1) for groups who want gin alongside whiskey. The intimate tasting room offers flights and craft cocktails.

Dulce Vida Tequila — Austin

Organic 100% blue agave tequila. We include Dulce Vida for groups who want tequila on the tour. The tasting room offers flights and cocktails — a strong add for mixed-spirit groups.

Why Groups Book Their Austin Distillery Tour With Us

Rideshare does not work for distillery tours. Still Austin is in an industrial district. Deep Eddy, Treaty Oak, and Desert Door are in rural Dripping Springs and Driftwood. Uber and Lyft are unreliable in the Hill Country — Driftwood Estate Winery literally warns on their website that rideshare frequently will not pick up. An Austin party bus rental is the only reliable way to visit 3–4 distilleries without a designated driver.

We know the distilleries. We run these routes every weekend. We know where the bus parks at Still Austin, the group reservation process at Treaty Oak, the gravel road to Desert Door, and the timing between stops that makes the day flow without rushing.

We own every bus. No brokers. No subcontractors. The vehicle in our gallery is the vehicle that shows up at your door.

We employ every driver. Background-checked, commercially licensed, trained on every route. Your driver knows the Hill Country roads, the distillery parking logistics, and the fastest way back to downtown Austin.

The bus IS part of the tour. The BYOB ride between distilleries is not dead time. The sound system plays, the cooler is open, and the 15–20 minute drive between stops keeps the group energy building. That is the difference between a car ride and a party bus distillery tour.

We respond in 15 minutes. Call 512-825-4032. No phone trees. No hold music. You talk to the booking team directly.

Corporate outings — The Still Austin Grain to Glass premium tour + Treaty Oak lunch at Alice’s Restaurant is the most polished corporate spirits experience near Austin.

Couples’ groups — 3–5 couples on our Sprinter van doing Route 2. The intimate setting and the Hill Country drive make it feel like a private spirits tour.

Combine Your Distillery Tour With Our Other Services

Our party bus rentals Austin fleet runs more than distillery tours. Groups frequently book a distillery day and an evening nightlife ride as a split-day package:

Distillery tour + nightlife: Distillery route by day (return by 4–5 PM), hotel break, evening pickup for Rainey Street cocktails or 6th Street bar hopping. Two bookings, one legendary day. See our bar hopping tours page.

Distillery tour + brewery tour: Start with distilleries (Route 1), then transition to East Austin breweries in the afternoon — Lazarus, Meanwhile, Zilker. Spirits AND craft beer in one day. See our brewery tour page.

Distillery tour + wine tour: Route 4 already combines spirits and wine. Or do a Dripping Springs distillery morning (Deep Eddy + Treaty Oak) and a Driftwood wine afternoon (Salt Lick Cellars + Driftwood Estate). See our wine tours page covering all 6 Hill Country wine regions: Dripping Springs, Spicewood/Driftwood, and Fredericksburg.

Distillery tour + Lake Travis: Morning distilleries, afternoon at The Oasis on Lake Travis for sunset. See our lake shuttle service.

What to Know Before Your Austin Distillery Tour

BYOB on the bus, not at the distilleries. The bus cooler is stocked for the rides between stops. At the distilleries, you are tasting and purchasing their product. No outside alcohol on any distillery property.

Still Austin is 21+ inside. TABC law prohibits anyone under 21 in the distillery. The outdoor patio is family and pet friendly.

Book tours at Still Austin in advance. The Whiskey Express and Full Distillery tours sell out on weekends. Book online at stillaustin.com 1–2 weeks before your party bus date.

Call Treaty Oak for large groups. Walk-ins are usually fine, but groups of 10+ should call ahead for the restaurant and tasting coordination.

Eat at Treaty Oak or Salt Lick. Schedule a real meal mid-tour. Spirit tastings on an empty stomach escalate quickly. Alice’s Restaurant at Treaty Oak and Salt Lick BBQ near Desert Door are the anchor lunch options.

October through May is best. Treaty Oak, Desert Door, and Deep Eddy all have beautiful outdoor areas. July–September Texas heat makes outdoor tasting uncomfortable. Schedule for cooler months.

Download your playlist. Cell service drops on FM roads in the Hill Country. Downloaded music guarantees the BYOB ride between distilleries has zero dead air.
